Reading

We help children develop language and comprehension skills through activities that teach sequencing, rhyming, classification, same/different, and opposites.

We teach reading through the Learning Dynamics Reading System, a reading program that we developed at Learning Dynamics and recognized as one of the nation's leading reading programs. It is also used in public school districts through the country. (Click here for the Learning Dynamics Reading System Research Base)

Children learn letters and sounds through music and fun object lessons. As the children begin learning the letters and sounds, we teach the blending concept and they begin reading words and books. Then we broaden the reading experience to solidify skills and build self-confidence.

Children begin to read individually as they are ready. We do not pressure or push to accelerate children. Instead each child progresses at his or her own appropriate pace. Reading is always done one-on-one with the teacher.

“Seven of my grandchildren learned to read with this program, and they love it.”

“When I enrolled my four year old at Learning Dynamics in the fall, he could not recognize any of his alphabet letters. Now, six months later, he is reading. I recommend this preschool to all my neighbors.”
